Hi! My name is Teddy and I am looking for a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up and no one came looking for me, I was placed on something bad called "the list". I was super scared 'cause no one would even give me a second glance 'cause I had a bad lump on my backside, that is until BCAA heard about me and said they would help me even knowing that the lump might be bad. Well, my luck has held 'cause not only have I had that bad lump removed it was not the dreaded "C" word but something called a hernia which is now all gone and once I heal up from my incision site and my hair grows back in, no one will ever know I even had that done! I may be a maltese mix but whatever I am, my foster mom says I'm super cute and will be even cuter once I have had a chance to get a good grooming done. I may be a little older at around 8years old but don't let my age fool you ... I have lots of spunk and love to give, and I weigh less than 12lbs so will fit pretty much about anywhere. My foster mom says I'm a sweet boy who loves getting attention. I've gotten along with all of the other small/medium dogs I have met although I don't like them pushing into my face. I've met some cats and haven't bothered them at all. I've done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of bedding although I would prefer to be out with you. I love my food and treats which I take gently. I also enjoy going for walks as I'm good on leash and it means I get to be with you.
