Hello out there! My name is Gorda and I am a two-year-old female American Pit Bull Terrier mix. I love to go for walks, play, and meet new people and dogs. I am very affectionate and will make a great friend and companion. I am good on a leash, and I will sit in a very mannerly and dignified fashion for treats. I am energetic and athletic, and as you can see from my pictures, if I may say so myself, I am quite attractive. All of this makes me wonder why they named me Gorda. Gorda, really? I can only assume that the person who named me Gorda does not speak Spanish, or that my name-card got mixed up with another dog’s (there is a Cupcake here, for instance, who, though a wonderful dog, does not, in my estimation, resemble a cupcake at all—but you didn’t hear that from me). At any rate, I think I at least deserve Gordita. I only weigh 39 pounds, and I should be full-grown at this point—and that’s 39, mind you, not 40.But you can call me whatever you want, if you come to see me. I would love to meet you and have the chance to become your great friend. You won’t be disappointed!Love…Gorda.
