ADOPT ME Pinto 1.5 year old Spayed female Pitbull mix, fully vetted Pinto is a confident and eager girl whose passions include playing with squeaky toys, wiggling her way onto your lap, and knocking out on the couch when she’s done with all of that. She knows “sit” and is learning “look.” While she doesn’t love her crate, she is happy to go in if she hears the sound of kibble hitting the bowl She sleeps soundly through the night but won’t hesitate to come into her foster human’s room in the morning and get her morning dose of pets and tummy rubs. Dogs: Pinto was in the shelter for awhile and hadn’t gotten much dog exposure! She is learning to be friends with her foster’s neighbor’s dogs and to play without annoying them. She likes to say hi to dogs both on leash and off leash. She would be fine to be in a home with other dogs or without! Cats: pinto did great meeting a cat. Her foster wondered if she would chase a cat based off of what was seen when Pinto sees a cat outside while on leash… but Pinto was very respectful, cautious, sort of scared even! Pinto would likely do just fine living with feline friends. Kids: we haven’t seen Pinto around kids but we would love to introduce her to some! Crate: While the crate isn’t her favorite place to be (especially when she knows that the couch, her bed, or her foster human’s bed is *right there*), she will go in with some kibble and coaxing and has stayed there all day while her foster is at work. Energy level: this girl gets the zoomies daily (for some reason, her favorite toy is a stuffed Subaru that she has been methodically dissecting little by little every day). She also goes on runs with her foster human. After she passes out from her various activities and antics, she’ll stretch on the couch or curl up on her bed and be unreachable until the next day.
