Description:
ADOPT MERaven2 years oldSpayed femalePitbull mix, fully vettedRaven is the sweetest, most loving girl who thrives on affection and attention. She’s a calm and gentle companion, always happy to curl up next to you on the couch after a fun play session. Raven is fantastic in her crate—she sleeps soundly through the night and is content when her foster is away. Every morning, she greets her foster family with a wagging tail, eager to start the day with some cuddles. Raven is petite and would likely do okay as an apartment dog even! She has an adorable “forever puppy” look… without the nuisance of a puppyDogs: Raven is dog-friendly, though in some cases she does need a little time to warm up to new dogs. When taken from the shelter, she was placed with a volunteer that has 5+ dogs and Raven did great, initially just wanting space and ignored the dogs. Once she’s comfortable, she enjoys playing and even cuddling with her canine friends. Once she was comfortable with her temp Foster’s dogs, she even started initiating play! Although her primary pastime that she enjoys most is humansShe especially enjoyed hanging out with a little puppy and is always respectful during dog interactions. Raven would do well in a home with other dogs from what we have seen! If you're looking for a dog who can happily be your one-and-only, she’d love that too!Cats: Raven is cat-friendly and did not show show aggression toward the cats she’s met. She’s gentle and calm, making her a great fit for a home with feline companions.Kids: Raven is kid-friendly, though she may need a little help maintaining good manners around younger kiddos. She’s been doing great with her foster siblings (and also did great meeting some other kids aged 6 and 8 ), and when meeting them, she was incredibly gentle and kind.Other animals: Raven is also being fostered with chickens! While they are safely enclosed in a pen, Raven has shown no interest in trying to break in or bother them. She’s respectful and doesn’t chase or harass the chickens, which shows her calm and steady nature around smaller animals.Crate: Raven has done amazing in her crate, especially at night. Sometimes voicing her discontent if she’s crated during the day WHILE she knows humans are home. Which is… understandable! She’s completely content to rest there while her foster is away, and she sleeps through the night without a peep. Raven is crate-trained and finds it a peaceful, secure space to relax.Energy Level: Raven enjoys her daily walks and playtime but is equally content to curl up on the couch and take a nap after a good session of zoomies. She’s the perfect balance of energetic and laid-back, making her an ideal companion for a variety of lifestyles.Raven is a gentle, affectionate dog who is ready to find her forever home. She’s done great with other dogs, cats, and kids, and she’s an overall calm and easygoing companion. Whether you're looking for a dog to enjoy outdoor adventures with or a cuddle buddy to relax with at home, Raven is the perfect fit.Apply to adopt Raven today!
