Despite coming into rescue as one of our neediest cases, Babe has made tremendous progress through surgery, recovery, and physical therapy with lots of love and devotion from her foster mama. She has a gentle and spunky personality, loves to play with stuffed animals (until she decides their time has come), and adores romping around with her male foster sibling. She’s house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained, and learning her basic commands. Babe’s ideal home includes a devoted, patient and understanding family that can continue to build her confidence. A canine friend with similar energy would be perfect for her, as she loves to play! If you have a pool, that’s even better—Babe is a natural swimmer and thrives in the water, often doing laps like a dolphin. This dog travels with an Interstate Health Certificate required by the USDA confirming that all the above criteria have been met. Housebroken: Yes Can be Placed With: Older Kids, Dogs. Cats Unknown. Fencing: Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed. Fees: Adoption fees are determined on a sliding scale depending on age, location and transport. Fees for dogs adopted locally start at $400 and can range up to $700 for puppies under six months. Puppies placed on spay/neuter contracts receive $100 back when the dog is spayed or neutered. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Fees for senior dogs (7 or older) and foster dogs will be adjusted accordingly.
