Clayton in TN - Super-Duper Playful Boy!
Status: Last posted as 'available' on 12/02/24

Male Dog, Great Pyrenees

Great Pyrenees (Long Coat)

Description:

Our playful boy, Clayton, is crossing his paws for his very own furever family! Clayton loves nothing more than to play, play, play, and play some more, every day! But to be honest, if you were a cute little thing with a goofy pyrsonality, wouldn't playing be the top of your priority list anyway? With that being said, Clayton is learning all about the joys of living in a house, is a good listener, and pays attention to his people. He adores getting attention from humans of all sizes, including those he’s just met while out and about! He enjoys going for hikes, and is equally happy both outside and indoors. This sweet boy doesn’t dig, and has an average Pyr alert bark to let you know when something is amiss. Clayton is currently sporting funky eyebrows from a recent surgery to repair his eyelids, but as you can see from the pictures, everything is healing up nicely and we expect he will return to his normal handsome, fluffy state in no time. Clayton will do well in an active household with other playful pups, where he can have adequate mental and physical stimulation, so that his energy is directed in a pawsitive manner. A 6-foot fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood would be great too, as he’s not a fan of sudden loud noises. Don't hesitate and fill out an application for playful Clayton now! NYS Registered Rescue # RR102 Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. We may consider fostering for some of our dogs who are in boarding. Please visit Fostering FAQfor an application and information about our fostering program.
