Female Dog, Great Pyrenees

Great Pyrenees / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Miss Juniper here is an absolutely delightful young girl who is ready for any adventures you may be planning. This sweetheart is simply the cutest, especially with that one ear up and one ear down pose, you cannot help but laugh when you see her face. Seriously, how can you ever say no to that adorable mug? Now, Miss Juniper is not all looks and no brains, she is an exceptional learner. Juniper has almost perfect manners, and is always eager to learn more skills. So far she’s mastered crate training, walking on leash, coming to your voice or ringing bells, and knows “sit” and “stay”! If you are into tricks training, we are pawsitive she will be your tricks-performing sidekick in no time! To top it off, Juniper has yet to meet anyone (four- or two-legged) that she doesn't love, and she is a joy to have her around. I mean, don't you want a little sidekick to help you with the most boring household chores? - She’d love to follow you around all day, then go off and play with her canine pals. She doesn’t care if they’re twice her size, as she can hold her own and play for as long as they are willing! This trustworthy pup would love a 6-foot fenced yard to play, explore, and run. She doesn’t dig and barks less than the average Pyr, loving to be wherever the action is. This young girl will easily thrive in a loving home where she will be doted upon, with friends to play with, and be treated as an essential family member. We have no doubt young Juniper will be your furever best friend for years to come! National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
