Keep calm and woof on.
Female Dog, Great Pyrenees
Great Pyrenees (Long Coat)
Description:
Say hello to Sky! She is a gentle, medium-energy girl who loves getting attention and pets. She is housebroken and leash trained, and working on learning her home manners, including basic commands. She listens well and wants to please. Sky has long, slightly course fur and is an absolute cutie! She likes to be brushed and enjoys rides in the car. She is playful with her foster brother, and would love a permanent home with another dog or two. Sky enjoys chicken as a treat and chasing squirrels in the yard. A 5’ fence would be great for this tall girl. Her foster mom described her as being a very sweet girl who is non-destructive and can be left loose in the house when alone. Sky would love a home with people who are home more often than not, who want to take her for walks and rides, and love on her often, to show her the love she deserves. - Written by M.M. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. We may consider fostering for some of our dogs who are in boarding.
