Say hello to Gus! This lucky pup was rescued by one of our amazing foster homes! This is what they have to say about him & his journey so far:Gus was a stray when we found him in November 2023. He was 35 lbs, completely emaciated, covered in dirt and blood, and left on a street corner in Brooklyn to fend for himself. Over the past few months we have been on a total journey with Gus. He took his first bath, got vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. We crate trained him, house trained him, and have been working with a trainer through RC to establish ground rules and boundaries. Gus learns so quickly when he is given the right tools. He is great with other dogs, is curious and sweet and energetic. He is still such a puppy and has such enthusiasm for life, walks, toys, treats, and all the best dog things. He plays well with our dog Ollie, follows us around the house, cuddles with us on the couch, and always wants to be near us. His journey and ability to adapt and learn though everything, despite where he started from and with an unknown background is really great. We are so proud of him!
