Meet Red, he’s a handsome freckled English Setter, just 1 Year Old and 40lbs! Red's perfect day includes long walks, running through the yard, and, of course, cuddling up for a cozy night on the floor. He’s always eager to please and has impeccable manners—no chewing shoes or furniture.He may be a little stubborn at times, but with a little direction, he’s quick to learn! Red is a calm, affectionate boy who gets along well with other dogs. He is especially happy when he can enjoy outdoor adventures like chasing squirrels and birds. Red is house trained, crate trained with a little more practice, and he has a great routine with his meals. He’s also a pro at sit, stay, place, and is learning "come" to make outdoor time even more enjoyable. He is always happy to meet new people and make new friends. He is working on being left alone in his crate, and stairs - while first he was very reluctant to go into his crate, he has learned quickly to make it his safe space and spend more time in it! Red would love to be in a home with a large fenced yard and experienced dog owners who can continue his training and give him the attention and care he deserves.
