Location: MD Hi, I'm River! A 1.5-year-old, 35-pound female Australian Cattle Dog with a "triple S" personality: sweet, smart, and sensitive. I'm seeking an active and engaged person to help me reach my full potential. I'm spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and preventatives. I'm ready to find my forever home! Previously, I lived in a busy household with children. Unfortunately, due to their hectic lifestyle, I spent most of my time crated. This led to me escaping and running long distances because there were no pesky fences in my way. Thankfully, I found a loving foster home on a farm, where I've thrived. I'm now more confident and my recall is improving significantly. I adore my farm duties, especially ensuring the livestock stay within their enclosures! After a busy day, I enjoy relaxing and cuddling with my foster dad. My ideal home includes: • A securely fenced yard: To allow me plenty of room to run and play. • A canine companion: I enjoy playing with other dogs, but respect the space of the grumpy seniors. • An active owner: Someone who enjoys hiking, running, or cycling. I'm eager to learn and excel! I'm already house-trained and know some basic commands. I'm a quick learner and would thrive in canine sports like flyball or agility.
