Hi there! I'm Scarfand I am one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet! I am a plott hound mix and about a year old. Even though I came here from the much warmer area of South Carolina , I love playing in the backyard with my foster dog brother or taking walks with my foster mom. She says I’m an incredible walker; I don’t pull on the leash and I follow directions well. I love attention and affection and will quickly become your best bud. I am a calm but playful pup who could benefit from having another dog in the house to play with and learn from, (however a devoted human could help with this too!) I enjoy playing with toys with my foster brother (I am still learning how to play with humans), chew toys are my FAVORITE. My all time favorite activity though, is cuddling up on the couch where I surround myself with a cozy blanket and all my favorite toys, I like them close by so I can choose one when I wake up from one of my many naps. Dogging is hard work ya know?! My highlight reel: -potty trained 10/10 (even learning to ring bells to tell my foster mom I have to go) -walking on a leash 10/10 -car rides 8/10 (SOMETIMES I’m unsure about getting in/out of the car: but once in I’m PERFECT!) -fetch 3/10 (I will chase a ball after you throw it, but why do you want it back? I don’t get it…willing to learn though!) -good with cats 9/10 (at first I may try to chase, with guidance “leave it” I will stop and soon your kitty will be my best friend) -good with other dogs 5/10 (nervous upon first meeting, but with your patience and calm support, I can be the BEST BUD to other dogs.
