Hi! My name is Sweater and I am a little over a 1 year old flat coat retriever mix. Even though I came here from the much warmer area of South Carolina, I am LOVING the Buffalo weather; even this cold white stuff! I love attention and affection and will quickly become your best bud. I am a playful energetic boy, I enjoy playing with toys, chewing on bones, and running around outside or taking walks in the snow. My foster mom says I’m a good walker, but I get so excited to be outside. I like my crate, and sleep in it for naps and all through the night. I am food motivated, which is helpful during training. My foster mom has been working with me on “sit”, “leave it”, “off” and “down” while I don’t have any of them down perfectly yet, I am really smart and I think it’s only a matter of time! I am eager to please!! I am also doing well with potty training with a good routine!
