Hi! My name is Cass. My previous owners surrendered me when they could no longer care for me but they had amazing things to say about me! I am a playful, affectionate fella who loves toys. I have done well around new people, other dogs and even cats in my previous home (I can be a little afraid of cats though). They also mentioned that I am house trained and crate trained. Staff always notes that the transition into a new home can take time and you may have to work through unexpected challenges but I am a total catch! Take a chance on me :)INSIGHTS FROM MY FOSTER FAMILY:`Cass is such a loving pup. He absolutely loves to do everything with his human and will follow you from room to room. But he especially loves walks, playing ball (still working on the fetch part), and just snuggling on the couch next to you. There is not a mean bone in his body, and he's done great with our cats and dogs. Occasionally he gets too excited or curious for our pets, but can quickly take a hint from both cats and dogs and respects their space. He appears to be house and crate-trained, and is learning simple commands like sit and come. He does not run off when outside, but when allowed to go full speed has the funniest run ever. He is young and still has quite a bit of puppy energy, very appropriate for his age. He will be a very loyal and loving pet to his family, and will love daily routine and structure.` I am currently available in my foster home.
