My name is Chappo and I came to the shelter with a severe wound on my neck from a collar that had gotten too tight in my previous home. It has healed up nicely and I am ready for my new forever home! I came in with several other dogs who I seem to get along with well. I am a super shy and nervous boy - but please give me some time to warm up and I promise I will be your best friend!INSIGHTS FROM MY WEEKEND SLEEPOVER:`Underneath his nervous demeanor, Chappo is a sweet snuggle bug just looking for somewhere to belong. He is quiet in a crate and doesnât mind the vacuum, but will need house training and someone to build his confidence as he does not enjoy being left alone. He did well with my dog at home but was not quite comfy enough to partake in any toys - though was happy to take all the treats he could get. Overall Chappo will make an excellent and loyal companion to anyone willing to take the time to build him up.`
