Female Dog, Bull Terrier

Bull Terrier (Medium Coat)

Description:

Hi there! I came into the shelter after my previous owners could no longer care for me. I can be a nervous gal but with patience I can warm up. I came into the shelter with another dog, and we did pretty well together but we would sometimes get into scuffles. Please make sure to monitor my interactions with other pets and provide slow/monitored introductons to any other animals in the home. I'll need time to adjust to new people and a new environment. In previous homes, I have often preferred women and I've been nervous about men, but I am often fine while outdoors walking with men, so everyone is trying to help me adjust and find the right spot. I'll need a home without small children as they can be a bit much for me. Thank you for considering me, I'm a sweet girl and I deserve a loving home!INSIGHTS FROM MY ADVENTURE BUDDIES:`I had a great time on my dog day out with Suki. She is such a good girl. She was a little nervous in the car at first but quickly settled down. We had a nice hike at Blackwood Farm with lots of time to roll in the grass, her favorite thing! After our hike, we stopped by Starbucks for a pup cup and then some toy shopping at Petco. Suki loves plushie toys that squeak. We spent the next few hours playing with the new toys in the backyard. She loves to sit in your lap and gives lots of kisses, knows sit, and take treats gently. She would likely do well in a female-only home without small children. She is the BEST girl and deserves a home where she can be spoiled, and give and get lots of love.``Today we went to the pet store, made lots of new friends and got some love, and picked out two new squeaky toys. Next was a long walk around the lake and then off to Starbucks for a pup cup. We came back home and played inside for a while with the new toys and then went outside to the backyard to run around and play some more. We took another walk around the neighborhood. Suki was great on leash and didn't react to other dogs. She loves to sit in your lap and give kisses. Suki is such a good girl and will thrive in the right home environment. `I am currently available in my foster home.
