Meet Chestnut! This sweet handsome boy is looking for his forever home. Chestnut is about 6 months old, 30 lbs, and may be sweetest little guy there ever was. He walks well on a leash and enjoys exploring outdoors, playing with a toy, and just being near his people. He likes to follow his person around just to make sure you don’t go anywhere. Chestnut is doing well with house/crate training and is eager to please. He will thrive with more training and consistency in order to live the best doggie life he deserves. Chestnut runs a little nervous so is slow to warm up to new people but after he does he’s yours for life! If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, loyal pup and are willing to put in the time for training, you and Chestnut may be a great fit! The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
