Male Dog, Pit Bull Terrier

Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Chestnut is about 6-7 months old, weighs 30 lbs, and is guaranteed to make you smile and laugh every day! This sweet, handsome boy enjoys walks and exploring outdoors, playing with his toys, belly scratches, and just being near his people. He has a hilarious way of pouncing on a toy or ball he’s chasing. Chestnut enjoys playing with other dogs, so would do great in a home with a fur sibling (or as an only dog). Chestnut is doing well with house training on a consistent schedule and settles nicely into his crate at night. He is smart and is eager to please, so has also easily picked up basic training commands! Chestnut is a little nervous around new people and can be slow to warm up, but after he does he's yours for life! If you're looking for a sweet, smart, loyal pup, you might be a great fit for Chestnut! If you are interested in adopting Chestnut, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
