This sweet boy is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, ready to join a new family. Though Dozer’s past may not have been the best, it certainly hasn’t stopped him from being a loving, friendly companion. He’s learning what it means to be part of a family and absolutely thrives on affection. Dozer loves cuddling on the couch with his foster family, and he’s always ready for a good petting session. But don't let his sweet demeanor fool you – this boy also has plenty of energy! He’s just starting to embrace playtime and is discovering how to interact with humans and other dogs in a fun, positive way. You’ll likely need to help him learn the ropes, but it’s part of his journey. Dozer is house and crate trained, making him a great addition to any home. He has lived with a cat and gets along well with them. Though he doesn’t live with children, his interactions during adoption events suggest that he would do just fine with them. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
