Hi I am Grandpa Joe. I am male and very smart. I am a Dachshund/Terrier mix and I weigh 8.4 pounds. I can figure out so many things. I opened my eyes first. I walked first. I also know how to climb out of playpens and through gates. I am puppy pad trained. I like to play and run and growl. If you are interested in adopting Grandpa Joe, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age. **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
