Description:

Please contact foster at [email protected]! My name is Nobara but respond best to Chloe. I have had a tough life since I first got to the shelter in April 2024, when I was still a puppy. It’s been so long that I officially turned one year old on June 28. I was in the shelter for two months without any interest. A sweet foster took me in and threw me an amazing party, you can see these pictures on my profile! It was the best day of my life so far. I was adopted shortly after in July 2024 and surrendered back to the shelter in October 2024 due to no fault of my own to a completely full shelter. The adopter had a small child and could not handle the commitment that she made to me. I was so sad to be back in the shelter and was in danger of not making it out due to space when a sweet foster picked me up to save my life on October 29th. Fast forward to January 2025 and I am still in need of my forever home and am still in a foster home. I am as sweet as can be and just want to be by your side. I've been abandoned at the shelter twice in my short life so I hope you can understand that I get nervous when left alone since I've had two irresponsible owners. I just want someone to love me and take care of me, I have good manners and am the sweetest girl with the biggest heart. Some quick facts about me:- Dog friendly with slow intros - Medium energy- Was very gentle with a foster's child- House trained, potties immediately once outside- Tennis balls are my favorite toy, but any other ball will do in a pinch- I love to carry my toys around in my mouth, it's pretty silly check out my pictures- I am practicing how to catch my tennis ball in my mouth- A little strong on the leash but working on it- Outstanding listener when my family talks to me or gives me a command- Smart and responds to sit, stay, down and no-Completed Board and Train program at Natural Breed Kennel Resort- Love and attention motivated, but treats are a close second- I take treats gently and am learning to catch them in my mouth- Sleeps in a crate at night, but is also non-destructive if left out- Doing well in a strong metal crate, I will whine a bit if you are home when I am crated if I can't see you but will settle down and won't whine if you're in the same room. I like music playing to help calm me-I would love a home where someone is home a lot but am slowly getting used to not feeling abandoned when my foster mom and dad leave.- Durable chew toys are amazing- I get scared easily sometimes by other dogs barking at me, strange new things like bikes/scooters/strollers/wheelchairs- I am a social eater and like having my family near me when I eat breakfast or dinner. I like to feel safe and loved while I eat!- I do like chew toys, including kongs. My foster family gives me frozen peanut butter kongs and Himalayan bones and I love it- I have the most beautiful and soft brindle and white fur- I love to rub my body on you like a cat when I’m feeling happy, relaxed, and safe- Some of my favorite treats are peanut butter and whipped cream. So, please take me to Starbucks for a pup cup!- I love being with my family- Cutest gentle tail wags- I love being told that I’m a good girl
