Sassie is a 5-year-old Plott Hound with a heart of gold and a personality as sweet as can be. Originally adopted from Haywood County Animal Services, Sassie is back with us after her beloved owner passed away, and she’s ready to find her next loving home.This brindle beauty is the epitome of a family dog. In her previous home, Sassie was wonderful with respectful dogs, adored visits from the grandkids, and even made friends with the neighbor’s cat. She’s gentle, friendly, and loves being surrounded by people who care for her. When Sassie first came to us years ago, she had lacerations on her hip that left her with a charmingly crooked walk—a unique trait that only adds to her character. Her injuries have healed completely, and she’s now a healthy, happy girl.Sassie isn’t one for long hikes or strenuous activity; she prefers cozy companionship over adventure. She enjoys light playtime but truly shines when she’s relaxing on the couch or spending quality time with her humans. If you’re looking for an easygoing, affectionate dog to fill your home with love, Sassie could be your perfect match.
