DOB: 11/09/2022Hi there, my name is Brie! I came into the Wake County shelter as a stray with a little friend a few months back and we were really close. However, someone came and claimed him and did not ask about me. I guess we met along the way somewhere and became buddies. I am a petite little girl with wiry hair and the most fascinating eyes. They both have some black and like an ice blue color in them. How cool is that? I am around 2 years old and weigh about 13 pounds so will not really get much bigger. I am such a happy girl all the time and I love to play with my Beagle friends at my foster mom's house. We all try to get her attention at the same time as I so love attention and being in your lap or just snuggled beside you on the couch. My foster mom brags on me all the time as I have not had one single accident in the house and I like my crate just fine (although my foster mom now lets me be free most times as she knows I am trustworthy). I am really good at going out in the fenced in back yard and doing my business, sniff around a little and ready to come back inside. I recently went on my first leash walk and did pretty good. I was not scared of sounds and did not pull - just need to decide which side I want to walk on! I am up to date on all vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped so I am ready to find my perfect person or family out there. I have not been around little kids but certainly willing to meet some as I pretty much love all people. If you think you would like to meet me please fill out an adoption application on our website.
