Online Adoption Application ›Hi, I’m Captain! I’m a handsome chap looking for love and playtime. My love languages are physical touch, food, treats, more treats, and lots of exercise. I was rescued from a neglect situation where I was the only puppy left from my litter, but my mom wasn’t really into me because we were kept tied to a tree with no shelter, and food/water was scarce and intermittent. Now that I’ve been in my foster home, I’ve started to learn that food is free, water is always available, and YOU GUYS HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT TOYS?! Those things are awesome! I’m 8 months old and only going to grow to maybe 50 pounds, so I won’t take up much space in the bed. I learned my name, sit, come, and lay down in just a couple of days. My favorite things are frozen kongs and any food except carrots and other veggies. Those are yucky! I’m great on walks and playing with other dogs. I love people and kids (I’m not super mouthy). And my foster mom is always saying I’m super smart. I’ve never really interacted with cats, so I can’t speak to that, but I’m definitely smart enough to learn.
