Description:
If you're interested in adopting any SGSR dog, please read about our Adoption Process and fill out an Adoption Application. Visit our website for more information, including Frequently Asked Questions. My name is Bennie! I’m new to all of this, but I know it’s time I introduce myself so that I can find my forever home. I came to this fabulous place called my ‘foster’ home! They’ve been caring for me and letting me learn how to be the coolest dog! I live with a pack 4 German Shepherds (3 boys and 1 girl), we all get along great and they are teaching me all kinds of things to the best dog for my own family! I’m definitely the baby of the family and that’s okay because I get all the toys to myself. My favorite toy is ‘the ball’ and the ‘hollow bones’. I know how to spend time in my kennel. I’m potty trained and haven’t had any accidents and my foster mom is really impressed and dances when I go outside to do my business. I’m always smiling! My foster mom says I’m always a happy puppy! I hang out with the pack outside - off leash and I am learning to come back when called. I’m not a fan of the leash but I do love going for walks so I could get used to the leash. I have a lot puppy energy so I’ll need someone who will take me for walks. I’m smart and my foster mom thinks I could learn new commands very fast! I also have an off switch. When it’s time to relax I love to cuddle! Nighttime cuddles are the best and I get to sleep next to my humans and I keep watch to make sure no harm comes to my family! I’m about 6 months old! I have some learning to do but I’m ready! If you see me and think I’d make a great addition to your family - I’d love to meet you. I’m currently in Norwood NC and if you are interested in adopting me put in your application at Southeast German Shepherd Rescue. I’ll be waiting to meet you! Our adoption process consists of a telephone interview, a call to your veterinarian and a home visit. If you have any questions about the adoption process please contact [email protected] .
