Description:
If you're interested in adopting any SGSR dog, please read about our Adoption Process and fill out an Adoption Application. Visit our website for more information, including Frequently Asked Questions. My foster mom calls me Foxy Roxy because she says I resemble a fox! Roxy is a sweet German Shepherd mix who is available for adoption. She is about 6 months old and around 30 pounds. She is fully vetted and spayed, housebroken, crate trained, and is starting to learn her basic obedience commands. She is a very sweet girl and can best be described as very easygoing, playful, and always up for an adventure. She walks well on a leash and is a great passenger in the car! Roxy loves people and dogs and has done great with all kids that she has met. She has not been cat tested but is a little too curious about the neighborhood cats that roam around. She’s extremely well-behaved for a puppy her age. She is happy to go on walks, play with other dogs, occupy herself with toys, or snooze at your feet while your work. The ideal family for Roxy is loving and easy-going, with room in their lives for a little sweetie. It is also important that her new family understand that she is a puppy and will need continued training to be the best dog that she can be. She is very food motivated so training should be a breeze. She has good recall so a fenced yard is not required but would be great, another easy-going and playful dog in the home would be a plus as her foster siblings have helped boost her confidence. Roxy is a wonderful young dog who is absolutely ready to move on to her forever home. She is being fostered in Charlotte, NC. If you think Roxy is the girl for you please apply at www.southeastgermanshepherdrescue.com. You must live in NC or VA to adopt! Our adoption process consists of a telephone interview, a call to your veterinarian and a home visit. If you have any questions about the adoption process please contact [email protected] .
