Our boy Bronx has spent the past few months recovering from meningitis, but he is back and feeling better than ever! If you've followed his journey, you may recall he was struggling with his appetite and had lost some weight. Well, his foster mom is happy to see that he found it all and then some! Bronx loves hanging out watching tv, sitting in the back yard sunbathing, going for walks, riding in the car, anywhere people are nearby, he's happy to be there. Bronx is crate-trained and sleeps in his crate at night. His foster mom works from home and he likes to lay in her office and watch her work. Although, he usually falls asleep on the job! He lives with FIVE other dogs and has done well with all of them. Despite his large size, Bronx is a pretty easy dog to have in the home. He's not very noisy, has a great energy level and will make someone an excellent best friend! His foster mom just can't say enough good things about this guy! All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis.
