Huck is a friendly guy who makes fast friends wherever he goes. He's done well with other dogs and has spent some time around older children and enjoyed lots of cuddles. He walks well on leash but his beagle nose often stays to the ground and he likes to investigate new smells. Although, he's been quiet during his stay with us so far, his breed is famous for singing the beagle blues! With his compact size, stunning good looks and charming personality, Huck would be an amazing companion. He's hoping to find himself Rocking around the Christmas tree with his new family!!All PAWS cats and dogs are current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. Age permitting, dogs/puppies are tested for heartworm disease. Cats/kittens are tested (and are negative) for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis.
