After recovering from surgery, I’m all healed up and ready to find my forever family! I love being outside and taking trail walks with my foster mom, and I’m a pro on the leash – hardly ever pulling. I’m working on my manners (especially when treats are involved!) and sleep soundly through the night without making a peep.I adore being around my people and, while I prefer not to be crated, I settle down after a few minutes when needed. I’m still young and full of energy, but a good walk helps me stay happy and balanced. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a slow and gentle introduction, I warm up quickly and become your best friend.I get along well with other dogs my size and love to play, but I can come on strong at first! I’ve learned to respect dogs who aren’t as playful as me, but it takes a little time. Because I’m still learning to trust new people, I need slow introductions and patience. If someone looks me in the eyes too soon, I may get nervous and react until I've had time to feel safe. My foster mom has been helping me work on this, and with the right approach, I quickly learn to trust. Due to this, I’d do best in a home without young kids. I’m also looking for a family who understands my quirky side – since my surgery, I pee a little differently and sometimes need a quick clean-up with a wipe.If you’re looking for an affectionate, fun-loving pup who’s ready for adventure and snuggles, I might just be the perfect match. Apply to meet me today – I can’t wait to find my forever home!
