Are you looking for a new best friend?? Avee is the perfect match! Avee is an approximately 3 year old, 55 pound German Shepherd mix. Avee puts her heart into everything that she does. She has a lower energy level, and honestly just enjoys spending time with her person! She is a great companion. Whether you want to relax in bed, watch TV, or go on a walk, Avee is down for whatever, as long as her human is involved! Because Avee loves her people so much, a fence is recommended but not required. Avee is house trained and knows to go to the back door when she needs to potty. She does great in a crate but can be trusted to free-roam in the house as she is trustworthy and not destructive. She does well with other dogs, but needs slower and proper introductions; so when going into a new home patience and decompression is important for her. She did well on her cat test at the shelter but currently is not living with a cat. Avee's foster dad found out that she is very well trained in obedience, so at some point in her life someone has worked with her. She is very eager to please and easy to train. She would be a great companion for someone interested in furthering her obedience training or other types of training building on what she already has, given her eagerness to please and intelligence.
