Rowlf is a beautiful, loving approximately 2-year-old, 65-pound, German Shepherd who is the true definition of "man's best friend." With his gentle eyes and loyal nature, he quickly wins over anyone who meets him. He already has all the best qualities that make a dog a great family member: he’s affectionate, playful, and full of heart. He is crate trained and potty trained, however, sometimes he may have an accident inside. He will need someone who is strong as he is a very strong boy. He’s not fond of cats but is good with dogs with proper introduction. He’s also gentle when taking treats. He will need a 4-foot fence. His foster Mom has a 4-foot fence and he shows no interest in hopping it even with chickens and goats on the side. Rowlf thinks he’s a lap dog, don’t let his size fool you! He’ll happily curl up next to you, resting his head on your lap and showering you with love. Though he's still working on some basic commands, including leash manners, his eagerness to please and boundless potential means he’s ready to learn and grow with the right person.
