Description:
This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided below.Patches is a young blue heeler/pit bull terrier mix. She is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. She is very friendly, loves dogs, and plays with children and cats. While she can be somewhat hyper, she can follow basic commands such as sit, howdy, and lay down. The owner has trained her not to jump on her, but when company comes, she gets excited and will jump. She loves to show affection by licking. The owner unfortunately cannot deal with her hyperness in the house, so she is chained up outside. Her chain reaches all the way to the front porch, and she has a small front yard. She uses the bathroom outside, but when she was smaller, she was kept in the house and she was fully housebroken. When the owner's health permits, Patches goes for walks. She walks well with a training collar. The owner feels that Patches would be happier in an environment where she could have more freedom (e.g., a fenced-in yard), and with people who have more energy to deal with her. She is a very loving dog that just needs the right people. If you are interested in Patches, please email [email protected]
