Description:
Thank you for considering adopting one of CARA's Special pets! To apply read about our adoption policies here to fill out an application. My name is Nala. I am listed as an Aussie but I really don't know what I am. Probably an assortment of several really cool breeds!! I am very intelligent and LOVE to learn! I am also the biggest sweetheart who loves all people! My only drawback is that I prefer to be the only furry Queen in the house and not have to share my human subjects with other animals. The rescue will continue testing me so that might change. I hope to meet you soon! I have recently completed my heartworm treatment, and then had to deal with a surgery to remove a salivary mucocele (basically one of my salivary glands was defective and so fluid would collect under my skin near my chin) It never really affected me in any way, but once it did become uncomfortable and swollen. Thankfully I was rushed to the vet and tended to. Currently I am being monitored to ensure that this does not become a problem for me. Can't wait to meet ya! If you would like to adopt me or any of my friends, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at [email protected]. Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
