Luke and his sister came into Ruff Love Rescue as a bonded pair. They came to us after their previous owner encountered medical issues that left her unable to continue to care for them. Luke and his sister Lizzie didn't care too much for other dogs, but they loved one another and were devoted to one another. Unfortunately, in April of 2024, Lizzie's health deteriorated significantly and she died, leaving Luke alone, without his sister. He is, as you can imagine, a little lost without his sister. He doesn't like it when another dog gets in his face, so to be safe, it would be best if he were an only dog. Luke's vet estimated year of birth is 2011. Luke is such a sweet dog. He would make a great companion, especially to someone who can provide a warm room with a soft bed and a loving touch. Luke is house trained. He's a sweet older gentleman who would love a home.
