He is in DASH's prison training program where he is excelling in his training. His trainer says, "Smitty loves to play with toys, give kisses and is well mannered. He will be attached to your hip and is quite happy to lay around with you all day". He loves to be petted and curl up on the furniture with you as he tends to get cold easily. He shares his food and toys well with other dogs and is housebroken. He's affectionate yet can be guilty of jumping on people when he gets excited. But don't worry, his trainer is working on that too! He does well with baths and nail trims and has not shown any signs of being a vocal dog. He does well in crowds and is very social. He does well on a leash and loves walks. Smith is a good mix of affectionate and energetic but not hyper. He has not been tested with children or cats so a proper introduction is in order.
