Smokey is a beautiful shepherd mix who has entered our prison training program. His trainer describes him as "very friendly with everyone he meets". He has lots of energy and loves to play. When he gets excited he will jump up so we recommend he not be placed with small children. However, he just started his training and we are quite confident he will learn what is acceptable. He gets along with other dogs. He can be a bit vocal in his crate from time to time but that's because he wants to be with his people. With his affectionate and energetic personality, he would make an active family, a perfect match. He is housebroken, loves baths and plays well with other dogs.
