BUTCH is a sweet timid beagle boy looking for a home. He's a beautiful little guy who has clearly not had a great life so far. He needs a patient adopter who will show him how wonderful life is in a loving home. Butch is about 3 years old and fully grown at just 19 pounds. He needs a home with a calm, confident dog who will show him the ropes. Butch is not a fan of over-the-top dogs. He needs a secure physically-fenced yard to keep him from following his beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Butch, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Butch at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
