FRITO is one awesome young dog. He's a gorgeous mixed breed boy, about 1 year old and fully grown at 50 pounds. Frito is fun, friendly and playful. He loves running and romping with the other dogs in his foster home and adores people of all ages. Frito also loves to cuddle with his people and is always game for a good belly rub. We have no clue on breed, he has a beautiful brindle and white coat with wavy hair down his back. He's a Heinz 57 varieties-type mixed breed dog, a perfect candidate for a DNA test! Frito has lovely manners, he's housebroken, crate trained and loves other dogs. If you'd like to meet Frito, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Frito at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
