ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED!! Darling MAYBELLE loves sweater weather! Isn't she adorable? Maybelle is a fan favorite amongst our volunteers and we are eager to find an adopter who recognizes that she's an absolute gem. This shorthaired mixed breed beauty is the color of a perfectly blended vanilla latte. She was originally aged at 4 years old but we think she's actually a bit younger, probably 2 or 3. Maybelle is fully grown at just 35 pounds. She's a playful girl, the perfect mix of intelligence, affection and athleticism. Maybelle is a perfect lifestyle dog. She loves to go hiking, running and playing fetch in the yard. She's so happy to go for rides in the car, especially with a pit stop for a pup cup. She loves loves loves her toys and will happily entertain herself when her people are busy. She does enjoy "liberating" all toy squeakers. Maybelle bonds closely to her people and loves with her whole heart. Did we mention she's whip smart? She knows Sit, Down and Shake and loves to learn new tricks. Maybelle is best suited to a home where she will be an only dog. She enjoys the companionship of well-balanced dogs in social situations but she's such a love sponge we think she would be happiest as your one and only very best girl at home. You can meet Maybelle at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.
