Male Dog, Beagle

Beagle / Basset Hound / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Don't you just want to give this face all of the treats? PEPPERONI is a sweet low key gentleman. He's a beagle/basset hound-type mixed breed boy with a beautiful chocolate/red coat. He's around 8 years old and 33 pounds. Pepperoni landed in a rural shelter with a broken leg after being hit by a car. Fortunately the break was not severe and he's healed up nicely. Pepperoni has a lovely disposition, he adores people and treats. Pepperoni loves a good cuddle on the couch, the perfect laid back bestie. He's housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Pepperoni, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhousrescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Pepperoni at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
