Meet SKYWALKER, a goofy, chunky Boston Terrier mix looking for a home. Skywalker is a bouncy boy who loves to do zoomies in the yard and jumps for joy whenever he sees a friend. Skywalker has a beautiful dark brindle coat and a bobtail. He's around 2 years old and fully (over) grown at 28 pounds. Skywalker is a bit of a chick magnet and does seem to prefer women. This guy is best suited to life in a quiet home with his trusted people. Skywalker needs room to run and is best suited to a home with a physically fenced yard suitable for zoomies. If you'd like to meet Skywalker, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet for an approved adopter. You can meet Skywalker at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
