Meet Scarlett. Scarlett came to Angels for Animals on January 28, 2025. She is an 8 year old Pitbull mix and 46 pounds. Upon exam, we found that Scarlett had two small mammary tumors. The tumors were removed and sent for testing. This week, we found out that the tumors were low grade mammary carcinoma. Scarlettâs survival rate appears to be high with a low percentage of recurrence but there is still a chance the tumors could come back. We are looking for someone to adopt Scarlett with the understanding that time may not be guaranteed for her. She is very playful for her age but only time will tell if she could live 1 year or many.Scarlett does appear to like other dogs but has not met cats.
