Female Dog, Australian Shepherd
Australian Shepherd / Beagle / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Bear is a sweet puppy girl who is super intelligent and the first pup in the group to try everything. She was born December 28, 2024. She probably will be 40 to 50 pounds full grown. She is Australian Shepherd and Beagle with some small mixes of Labrador Retriever, Chow and Terrier. Please remember pups' looks and personalities can change QUITE a bit as they grow up. They lose their puppy coats and growth estimates are notoriously unreliable when dealing with mixed breeds. Also note that puppies are LOTS of work. They cannot be left alone for 8 hours a day, they chew EVERYTHING, they are physically not capable of 'holding' it for long periods until they mature. Their top skill is usually finding trouble no matter how well you think you've puppy-proofed your home. PHYSICAL fence required BEAR will be ready to go home by mid-April. Her adoption fee is $350 and includes spay, microchip, all age-appropriate vaccines and prevention (flea, tick, heartworm). The first step in the adoption process is to complete a non-obligatory adoption application today at our website www.pawsandprayers.org All applicants' furry friends need to have their vet game on point! We're talking routine check-ups, spayed/neutered, and vaccinations sparkling like new. Dogs? They also need to be heartworm-tested and on prevention patrol. We'll be chatting with your vet to confirm, so giving them the green light to spill the beans will speed things up. If your pet's got a medical hiccup preventing any of this, just jot it down on your application, and we'll double-check with your vet pal. Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.
