He, along with two other collies, were found wandering the streets and were taken to a shelter. Almost Home Dog Rescue came along and connected him with a loving foster home. His foster family describes him as shy, but he warms up quickly to new people. He loves his foster family and just enjoys their company. He is affectionate and loves his daily snuggles. Max is becoming more comfortable each day. His foster family is teaching him all of his commands and his house manners. Luckily, Max is motivated by food and treats and is eager to learn. Max has met other dogs, and he greets them happily and is very interested in interaction. He is content playing with his toys independently but also enjoys playing with the other dogs. He is a bit timid at first but has a goofy side as well. He has some anxiety when left alone, but this is improving every day as he gains trust in his new surroundings. Max is very intelligent! His foster family feels with continued guidance and consistency, he will continue to learn. He will be a loving companion to his adopted family.
