My name is Sahvi. I am on the small side for a German Shepherd. I am very, very affectionate and get along with everyone I have met. My foster mom thinks I've never lived indoors before, but I am already housebroken and quickly learning the rules. I am a quiet girl, my foster mom has never even heard me bark! I am crate trained. I love to run and chase squirrels, so a fenced yard is a must for me to have. My life has been difficult. I was picked up as a stray and spent a month and a half at the pound before I came into Roses Rescue. They found out I was heartworm positive, so after the treatment, I had to spend 6 weeks in a crate while the worms in my heart died. The vet says there should be no lasting issues. Now I am free and love to play with my foster siblings, especially my Frenchie brother who really keeps me on my toes! We love to romp and play together in the backyard! After all that I am fine now and ready to move on to my forever home with a family of my own. I would love to be a friend to a high energy player like myself. We could wear each other out.
