Meet Atlas! Atlas arrived at the shelter on 10/21/2024. Initially a bit reserved, he warmed up to people, revealing his curious and charming personality. However, shelter life has been tough for him—he’s becoming more vocal and prefers to keep his distance from those he once trusted, except for one special person he remains close to. This change may be due to a lack of mental stimulation, as Atlas is a highly intelligent dog who thrives on engagement. This handsome boy is up to date on all his vaccinations, including his Lyme vaccine, and is one of the rare pups who tested negative for Lyme! He’s also house-trained, though we have not yet tested him with other dogs or cats. Atlas is a regal, energetic dog who needs an experienced leader to help him channel his intelligence and energy in positive ways.
