Though his compatibility with cats is unknown, he walks calmly through the shelter's cat area without issues. Meatloaf does prefer his personal space around other dogs and is happiest as the only pet in his home. While he sometimes feels uncomfortable around dogs in public settings, his confidence grows when he senses strong leadership from his human, allowing him to relax and enjoy the outing.
