Sweet Bella was previously adopted from NBRAN a few years ago by a wonderful family in Florida. Since then her family has moved to a retirement community and realized that Bella's energy needed more attention and space to run. From Bella's foster Mom: Bella is a beautiful, active, well mannered lady. Seven years young she goes toe to toe with my 9 mo Border Collie pup. She is healthy with no evidence of arthritis or other maladies to slow her down. She can easily handle a 10 mile hike. She is not very attentive on a short leash however, and will pull aggressively for most of those 10 miles. She is a focused hunter of lizards here in her back yard and she does enjoy languishing on the couch in her down time. She is smart, and when motivated will learn things quickly, however, there is no treat that will divert her from her passion of hunting. I have started her on some off leash work, but I'm still not confident that a she will always attend when there are exciting squirrels to chase. Her nails and teeth, and indeed her health in general has been attentively and lovingly maintained by her former family. Her confirmation is excellent. She is friendly with strangers and their dogs. She excitedly announces all visitors, and greets them with a valued toy in her mouth. She would do well with an active, even younger dog to play with. An active family, or one with a generous back yard could not go wrong with this lady. Bella is being fostered in central Florida. Her adoption fee is $350.00.
