Sassy is a beautiful French Brittany who is looking for her forever home. Sassy is a friendly, playful, affectionate, and smart high energy Frenchie who will need an active family to keep her happy. She loves to run and chase tennis balls till your arm falls off. She doesn't always bring them back but prefers to run around the yard with the ball in her mouth until she decides to release it. Sassy has had some hunt training with an e-collar. She knows basic commands. Sassy will occasionally counter surf, so additional training will be needed for that. Sassy's foster family lives in central Florida so chasing lizards all day is great fun for her. A 6 foot PHYSICAL FENCE is an absolute must for Sassy. Sassy would be an excellent candidate for agility, scent or Fast Cat training. After she's had her fill of exercise for the day, she does settle down nicely on the couch or anywhere her people are. Sassy loves to play with other dogs. NO CATS for this girl! Because of her excitement when she greets people, small children could be knocked over, so caution in that area is a must. Sassy is a typical French Brittany with the high energy you would expect from the breed. She does pull hard on leash, so additional training is needed. Sassy is UTD on vaccinations, HW negative, microchipped and spayed. She is being fostered in central Florida and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad. Her adoption fee is $400 to offset the cost of vetting and to help other Brittanys in need. Adoption applications can be found on our website at www.nbran.org.
