Description:
Barkett is an adorable male puppy who is around 13 weeks old and about 13 lbs. Our best guess is that he is a terrier mix of sorts. This little guy is friendly, happy and full of love to give to his forever family. Barkett has been very well socialized in his foster home and has been with other dogs, kids and adults. He is already sleeping through the night (from 9pm to 5am). Barkett is learning the ropes of potty training and uses the puppy pads when inside (with minor accidents). He is happy to follow the lead of his older foster home dog pals in going outside to play and do his business. This little man is super friendly, super cuddly, and you will instantly fall in love with him. If you are interested in Barkett please email [email protected] to apply. Please email us at [email protected] for more info or an application. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area South Jersey and northern Delaware only.) NOTE: Most puppies do best in the company of an older dog who can teach them "doggy manners," so homes with at least one other dog usually will be given preference in puppy adoptions. Please read Suzanne Clothier's wonderful article, "It Takes a Pack to Raise a Puppy!" PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us [email protected]. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!!
