Description:
Munchkin is an adorable, loving, sweet and fun girl. She is around 2 years old and just under 50 lbs. Munchkin is a compact lady who sports legs on the short side. We think her low rider stature makes her extra cute and the perfect size for couch cuddles! Muchkin has a wonderful personality and temperament and traits and skills to match! Munchkin is housebroken and crate trained. She is quiet in the crate and sleeps there overnight without a peep. She is great with other dogs and has been an awesome layman's companion to her foster home dog pals. She is a good mix of play/excitement and naps. Munchkin is very snuggly and affectionate and is eager to be near people for pets and snuggles. She walks well on a leash. She could use a little more confidence here but has done great with positive encouragement, especially with her limited experience with leash walking. Munchkin would do well in a variety of homes. We think that she has a good temperament and personality for a home with kiddos. She has not been around cats but we think she might be too interested and chase them. Munchkin is more than ready to find her forever family and we know she will make a family very happy! If you are interested in adopting Munchkin please email us at [email protected] to apply! (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area South Jersey and northern Delaware only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. Come and meet the Almost Home dogs and their fosters at our Meet & Greet events, where you can learn more about our wonderful dogs from the people who live with them, find out which dogs are on their way and when they’ll arrive, and fill out an application to adopt or foster. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used. For more information on the dangers of electric-shock collars, please visit banshockcollars.ca/studies.php . We do not have an online adoption application; to request an application, e-mail us at [email protected]. To speed e-mail processing time, be sure to note the name of the dog you are inquiring about in the Subject line. For Meet & Greet times and locations, visit our home page, where you also will find information on our adoption process and fees. FOSTER FAMILIES ARE LIFESAVERS!!
